DIRECTIONS

Directions For Use:

Step 1 - Preparation
Clean area of all dirt and debris by sweeping and/or mopping area. If there is excessive grout on your tiles, scrape it away, but try not to scratch or damage tile or grout between the tiles.

Step 2 – Further Preparation
Cover all nearby areas that are not being worked on with plastic sheeting (drop cloths), be especially careful with polished marble, limestone, carpet, or hardwood floors.

Step 3 – Apply Solution
Once all surrounding areas have been protected you may begin applying GROUT RENU™. Always shake well before each use and be sure to wear latex or rubber gloves during application.  Apply GROUT RENU™ liberally and directly over grout joints.

Step 4 – Scrub
Brush grout lightly with non-metallic grout brush.

Step 5 – Clean Up
After grout has been brushed, rinse the entire work area with clean water using a mop or sponge.

Step 6 – Allow Drying Time/Check for Spots

After cleaning your work area thoroughly, allow it to dry completely. After the work area has dried, check for any missed spots in the grout. If spots are found, repeat the process in those areas. 

Inhalation:
Inhalation is not an expected hazard unless misted or heated to high temperatures. Mist or vapor inhalation can cause irritation to the nose, throat, and upper respiratory tract.
Ingestion:
Corrosive. May cause sore throat, abdominal pain, nausea, and severe burns of the mouth, throat, and stomach. Severe exposures can lead to shock, circulatory collapse, and death.
Skin Contact:
Corrosive. May cause redness, pain, and severe skin burns.
Eye Contact:
Corrosive. May cause redness, pain, blurred vision, eye burns, and permanent eye damage.

First Aid:

Inhalation:
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician immediately.

 
Ingestion:
If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Give large quantities of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately.


Skin Contact:
Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician, immediately. Wash clothing before reuse.


Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes with gentle but large stream of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Call a physician immediately.

 

NOTE: If calling a poison control center, have this label accessible.  If seeking treatment at an emergency room or doctor’s office, bring this product label to show personnel.
